making portrait
taking portraits of animals is not easy , first you have to get them to sit still and stay and keep their attention to you, you can makes noises, have treats, and even talk to them.
when you have the animals attention make sure your focus is on the eyes and that you fill the frame , make sure there is enough light to see their face and that you don't use a flash which will cause the eyes to glow.
when it comes to people they usually pay attention to you as you tell them what you would like for them to do. when focusing on them make sure there is enough lighting to see their face, and that you do not use flash directly at them this will cause red eye, you need to focus on their bridge of their nose and make the them slightly off to the side,but yet still fill the frame up .
you also when doing animal and people portraits make sure you go down to their level, with people it is best to use a tripod
this will help steady the shot. |
